2011 Regional
The 2011 Regional was hosted by Cattica and was held on 20/21 August 2011.
The show was held at Bracknell Leisure Centre with the banquet on Saturday night at the nearby Hilton Hotel. The theme of the weekend was “Garden Party”.
It was a very enjoyable evening honouring the Region’s top Cats, Kittens, Alters, HHPs and HHP Kittens. Fabulous felines, fun and friendships were very much in evidence !
I wanted to thank everyone involved in making the evening a success. Hopefully I haven't forgotten anyone - but if so, I apologise in advance.
Firstly, Poppi Clements and Phillipa Holmes and the Cattica show team for organising the banquet as well as the accompanying show
Tania Murray, Fiona Nicholls and Terri Crow for decorating the tables and the function room - it looked fabulous !

Our judges for kindly helping me to present all the awards (and I was glad that the airline fiound Fate's suitcase so he could wear the suit at the Annual!)
Ros Wood and Phil Cornwell for making sure each judge had the right award to hand out

All the winners for the amazing selection of favours they provided for all 150 attendees (and Wim for the Belgian chocolates !)
Last but not least - all the exhibitors as without you and your fabulous cats there would be no Regional.
I also wanted to say how proud I was of our Region when you all stood to give a standing ovation for Janet & Steve's Louie (aka RW SGCA Flutterby Dashing Hussar, 9th Best Alter) who died so suddenly and unexpectedly just 3 weeks before the Awards Banquet.
Looking forward to next year's Regional already :)
